If he really offered you $25K for the car and you didn't sell..... why not? I would have in a minute. I can always find another for quite a bit less.... and isn't that the fun bit anyway. The hunt, barter and purchase?
I hate to say this... but eventually we all will sell our cars, junk them or someone else will sell it for us (when were're gone). It's just a matter of time. We all like to say I won't sell it for any price, but that's not realistic. It's just a thing, it's value varies depending upon the market demand and inflation of our currancy.
I own alot of different cars.... love them all, but someday I'll sell all or many of them and move on to something else. (aircraft, bikes, boats or just other types of cars?).
