It seems that there has been a bit of talk about leaks and water in the car. Im surprized nobody mentioned the tailights. I have two e12 and both of them leaked. I noticed water in the floorboards and in the spare wheel well. For years I thought that it was a poor design. I always thought they were held on by the large grey screw on the back of the lights. When I took everything apart the otherday I realized that there are four smaller screws on each corner of the lens w/nuts on the back to pull it tight. On both of my cars the four screws had broken off. Im not sure how to fix it yet but now I know what it is. Check your lights.
