If the block says 3.3/3.5 it is out of a later US car (either 3.3 or 3.5 liter motor), if it says only 3.5 it is most likely the early euro spec block.
The tranny is the standard CR 265. Top ratio is 1:1 not the more normal 0.82:1
This is the same setup as the stock M535i E12.
It should all bolt is easily with the exception of converting your 4 speed to 5 (need cross member, driveshaft and a small mod to mount the 5 speed shift tower)
