I have the same basic hydrolic system in my Audi.
It is expensive to maintain and (in my opinon) definately not better than the standard vacuum assist servo. (maybe that's why most newer BMW's and Audi's are vacuum assist now...)
Anyway, maybe use a remote mount vacuum servo?? That way you can mount it anywhere there is room.
Just an idea.
