When you say "remote" system I assume you are talking about using a master cylinder that drives a slave cylinder to that drives the master cylinder like the RHD cars? Please confirm. I have thought about using this setup, seems the most straight forward.
I might also use the hydro system and move all the brake/booster to the left via a kinked push rod. FYI: When you get the chance check out an e34 V8 car. The master cylinder and booster sit 4" behind the drivers head light and they run a 3' rod to it from the pedal. I guess BMW did not have room in the e34 to run a normal brake setup when the installed the v8 into the e34.
