Can think of two things as a starting point. Dry, dry, dry joints like tie rod ends or front ball joints, which would creak when pushed to extremes not normally reached in day to day driving. Or, if more of a squeal, the power steering pump belt may be loose, which would squeal when it hits limit.... But I am sure you know what that sounds like.

Try turning the steering to the extreme limit (either side) and then (with parking brake on, out of gear) have one person hold the steering to limit and a second person step on bumper and work the front end up and down. If it continues to creak, it's a joint that needs grease, which may be a problem if all joints are sealed (no zerk fittings). could be a suspension joint, or tie rod end.

Probably would not cost anything to have a shop diagnose it on a drop-in basis, but obviously something severe, costly and drastic will be found (Finnegans correlary 29 to Murphy's law 37A)
