Hi Gang,
This morning I was driving to work and a very short time after I turned on my heater my temp gauge spiked up to over 3/4 on the gauge. I turned a corner and then the gauge dropped back to just under 1/2. I also turned off the heater. Then, I turned the hater back on and everything was fine. My thought is that my system needs to be bled, that maybe there was an air bubble in the heater core that escaped when I turned on the heater and that it got trapped at the thermostat. Turning the corner made the bubble move and then the thermostat opened and the temp went back down to normal. Does this make sense or do I have smoe other problem?
Thanks,
Jim
