I would second Troy's opintion here....
I have a Jacobs system on my driver... Works ok but I don't really think it's any better than the stock system....
That said I recently bought some of the fancy Nology plug wires (the ones with the capacitor in them). Put them on one of my cars recently.... Only driven it 30 miles so I can't form an objective opinion about them yet.
But I wasn't too happy so far as the plug wire ends weren't standard older BMW issue (ie no ceramic heat resistant plug connectors ) The rubber distributor cap ends were also too long and large and didn't want to fit the cap well (they look like standard V8 american stuff).
Well see if they help at all....
