Interesting. ECU failures (except dead after bad jump start) are so rare it's easy to overlook.
I finally spliced the O2 sensor cable on my euro and have been watching the hunting. Both 79 and 80-81 ecu's do it. Huge increase in mileage with little change in performance.
I found 79 and 80-81 ecu's ran a little different but not much. Must be some program change.
Hey, if you send the bad one to me, I'll open it up and see if there's anything that can be done.
