No, you have to pull the head to remove the cam and rocker shafts. There's just not enough room to that in the car. Even if there was, you have to compress some valves to get the cam out and there's not enough piston-to-valve clearance to do that, IMHO. It's really too bad that the cam and rocker shafts don't have bolt on caps like the crank. Then you could get it all out from the top.
