Hey gang i need help. I have a 1980 528IA with original plug wires and am attempting changing them myself. I bought the car new and know they have never been changed so i thought it was about time.
I have replaced the plugs but now my dilema. I am not sure about getting the old wires out of the harness and the new ones in. I bought Blue Thunder ( Beckarnley) wires and can see that to get the wires into the harness one end has to be removed. Would that be the distributor end or the plug end. Or is my assumption completely wrong and it cannot be done. If one end can be removed do you just pull the wire out and then shove it back in? Please forgive the basic question but i just do not know.
