1) If the wires you bought came w/o a loom, you can split the bottom of the old loom with a box knife. Then you can insert the new wires one at a time though the split into the loom.
2) Or, you can buy a somewhat different loom from the BMW dealer that can be opened and closed.
3) Or, you can very carefully work the boot off the distributor-end of the wire and bend the brass right-angle connector straight. Then you can thread the wires through the loom one at a time w/o splitting the loom. A little WD40 helps them slide.
I was so hard-headed that I used technique #3 when I installed some Korman 8mm wires several years ago. It wasn't worth it.
