Wishfull thinking! Less than 6.375 or so originally. With the side console panels off you can use a space saver hack saw and trim the tabs on the evap box in order to get almost 6.5" plus trim the supports (also part of the evap box) between the fan housing and the evap section in order to route your wires below the radio instead of in back of it. I am frustrated at the lack of options in our consoles. I believe it is Don D who has the BMW spacer to put in a deeper radio. Maybe he can give you the part # if your head don't fit. Trubey
