Wow, what a great FAQ. Hats off to you guys for writing this up
and to Troy for taking the time to set up that HTML page with all the
tables. I skimmed when alot of the stuff started going over my head
(blah blah, timing, TDC, don't understand, blah). laugh.
But, it gives me a very good idea of what I'd be in for if I was to
tackle this project myself. It makes me understand why go-fast shops
like Korman want $$$ to do something like this. Even on an old car like
ours, there's alot involved.
Just curious, did you build the engines yourself? You mentioned getting
the blocks from different sources, but did you tear down the engine and
put in go-fast goodies like Shrick cams, ported/polished heads and/or high
comp pistons?? Just curious because the FAQ didn't go over the engine
building that much.
