good observation. I've done some minor repairs before (starter & water pump), but on a nice simple 318i not this car.
where's a good place to start? I'm assuming from your comments that the thermostat is a good a place as any to start, but is there any diagnostic that can be done to check for cracks before sinking too much more $$ in if it's on it's last legs? a pressure test of some kind?
I'm getting worried. I need to drive to PA this weekend and beginning to think i should probably start looking into a rental car.
