Gang,
have a major leak seemingly at the water pump, but not definite. Lower radiator hose is cold/cold. Remaining hoses are warm to hot, but not much heat at the heater core. BTW, this happened after driving at 3500 RPM on hwy. for about 1/2 hour, 80 2.8.
Sounds like two things...
1. Thermostat is stuck/failed.
2. Waterpump may have failed, or does it have a emergency relief valve on the underside?
Will be tough to find parts on a Sunday, but still need advice. My E30 is still down due to timing belt damage, and I'm on my last vehicle (minivan)!
