Yep, in the Chicago area we have to pass emissions, at least until a car is 25 years old. So being an '81, it still has about 4 years to go on that. He has it registered in Rockford, IL where there are no emissions tests. So right there, the lack of a cat is a potential deal-breaker for me.
I'll let you guys know the scoop when I see it tomorrow night.
