up.... But that's an astronomical jump from nice cars for $3000 to $5000, to get to $8000plus on this example. OTOH, this gentleman may get his price. I hope he is relatively young, with time on his side.

I did see a very nice, extremely stock, extremely fine unrestored e12 sell here in Bend for $4500 recently. Appears to have belonged to a lady who had driven it very little for the past few years. I looked at it and I am still convinced that the market will soon rise for nice, UN-modded, original and unrestored cars. Why??? Because, and this has been proven to me over and over for the last 40 years. Cars hit a period right after they bottom out on price and become attractive in the market, where a certain very particular segment of the buying public will pay premium prices. Have seen it over and over. It's possible the car above qualifies, if the paint is original and it is stock... Don't think the 3.5 liter engine makes it so.
