I found a lot of tire guys won't align e12's correctly. I think if you don't use the weight they end up too toed out when you sit in it and they can wander. Also worn ball joints and maybe if strut bearings were really ragged.
Try painting a innner and outer tread on each tire with a little white paint. Then drive. See if the inside wears off first. Mine would. Until I asked for more toe ("please sir, could I have some more?").

: Just purchased low-mileage, almost perfect '76. Only problem is it pulls to right at slow speeds (1-50). Fine at rapid velocities. Had wheels alligned, but no help. Tire guys told me it mihght be "band shift" on the new Michelins, so I mounted a set of Bridgestones, but pull still there. Front end fine and still factory sealed. Car never hit. Could it be steering box? Is this commonplace on E12s? Help.
