what is the differance between the 2.8 block and the 3.0 block? is the 3.0 block slightly longer or heavier or is it the same on the outside just a bigger bore? i want to convert my 2.8 m30 block into a 3.2 by increasing the bore to 92mm and keeping the original crank shaft (80mm stroke). my understanding is that keeping the short stroke will decrease piston speed durring each revolution making a more free reving engine. thanks for any input, Greg
