I Had my odo freeze up also and what i found was that if you removed the trip odo and left the over-all odo in place that it would work. the disadvantages are an unsightly empty spot (very small) and the loss of the tenths of a mile. i wanted my odo working because i like to point out that the car has over 200k miles and is still going.
