: At highway speeds, another symptom is that upon removing my foot
: from the accelerator, the car will kick into Deceleration IMMEDIATELY,
: and when I want to regain speed, I have to press down the accelerator
: almost 3/4 of the way before the acceleration resumes with a giant
: surge, almost like I've cranked up the Nitrous or something.... Note: by
: the time the accelerator is more than 1/2 way down, the car is STILL
: DECELERATING. This occurs with or without the Retard line attached

I experienced something similar, although not to the degree you mention. The proble with mine was that the air flow meter was sticking; I removed it and filed down the interference (the flap was rubbing on the inside) and then WD40'd it. The problem went away and hasn't come back.
