Another local school; very well run. Jeff C stopped by to take some pics during skid pad runs. Instructors commented on the well behaved chassis of the e12. Note I'm running stock 25mm euro sway bar so the car leans a a fair amount on the skid pad. An E30 M3 guy freaked out; thought it looked scary. Funny as I was screeching around the circle I wasn't even aware of how much the car leaned. Jeff has pictures I believe.
Afternoon track session was fun; the old car did ok although I could catch the 2002 in front of me; that guy could drive. Instructor drove the car one lap and commented on how well it drove. I felt good considered he's driving a Z3 2.8L Coupe.
One of the neatest cars there I thought were the e36 318Ti. Handled great and ran with much more powerful cars.
I will still install the larger sway bars Frank gave me so I don't scare any other M3 owners with my chassis lean (BTW he was the only person who spun out all day).
Bottom line, I learned to look further down the track and more consistant hand placement. Can't wait til spring for one more local before I try VIR or something similar.

Too much fun!
