Yeah, Peter, it seems like I got so much more out of the second drivers school than the first. First time I was just alternating between scared witless and giggling deleriously. Second time out the car and I could talk things over seriously--and I left with a good list of things to mod too.
Lowering was one of the changes. Being lower, the car doesn't lean quite as much. And with the stiffer springs that come with lowering, the left/right transitions are much quicker. At the third school, I was keeping up with e36 cars in the corners. You drove the result during the first first five fest.
But the biggest improvement is just technique behind the wheel. The schools I attended paid for themselves a couple times over when some idiot pulled a dumb move in traffic.
