i hear you, nowadays when you pull up to the pump you only get one thing. THE SHAFT! someone still pumps my gas. oregon is one of only two ststes in the union that wont allow self serve gas!
truth is i would rather do it myself. someone has to pay the attendants. must explain why or. has some of the highest gas prices. plus they do damage. trying to shove the nozzle in the filler while turning on the pump is the prime example. end up with little dings all around the fuel door. worst was when this kid shoved the nozzle clear thru the rubber filler boot on my 71 02 (franz) and started pumping gas into my trunk!
