Sean, next time they do Sears Point I'll go! That is a fun track with two blind curves and not as hard on a car as Laguna Seca.
Make sure these areas are in tip top shape...motor mounts, complete cooling system, driveline (guibo and center bearing), diff mount, as well as obvious areas (brakes, struts, tires). I speak from (some painful) experience.
