When Don (with his Ljet 3.6) and I (stock 2.8) went to Nor. Cal. for dyno day, we noted that gas mileage was very similar, we both were in the 20 mpg range averaging 75-80mph. Under more normal conditions, I get 17-18 city and 21-23 highway. Both with 5 speed manual and 3.45 rear ends. You should be getting better gas mileage than what a 530i gets...
