As many of you know, my car is sitting and has been for a while. I can't get the time to work on the poor thing. I go back and forth with my plans for it. Fix the rust, don't fix the rust, buy a new one with no rust, sell all my parts, buy more parts, etc...
Anyway, just wanted to let you know about a recent purchase, which could have paid for a significant amount of bodywork, or a new (old) car. Doh! I just received Alpina wheels, w/ tires. Recently refurbished. They are the 16" classic style. I've loved these wheels ever since I set my eyes on them 4 or 5 years ago. I got some late model 7 series wheels on E-bay a while back, but decided I didn't really like these and resold them on E-bay (for a loss - doh!) For the Alpinas, I got a good deal from someone who advertised on the board. I'm quite happy and sad all at once. I love the wheels, but don't have a running car to put them on right now. Oh well. Someday, after I buy my house (maybe this spring), I'll get around to it.
