A discussion on this board a few months ago seemed to draw the conclusion that the distribution was 55/45. There was a lot of controversy and I think a lot of people destroyed their bathroom scales, driving each wheel up onto them. However, I think a better way to do this measurement would have been to stand at each end of the car, ON your bathroom scales, and lift the car by the bumper. Then subtract your weight and you have the weight of each end of the car. Total the weight and do the math to get the proper distribution. Don't forget to subtract your weight, since it will be the same at either end of the car, presuming you didn't stop for a 6 pack going from one end to the other. If you use your weight, supposedly being the same, for the calculations, you will throw the distribution off, favoring one end of the car.
Are you really planning on racing an E12??
