Canadian cars had the 49 state emmission package so they had thermal reactors EGR and air injection and retarded timing. The califonia cars had even more retarded timing and even worse fuel economy.
More than likely the car has had all the emission gear stripped of. However you can still have the reactors on the car and the air injection EGR disabled.
The reactors are big ugly and shielded.There were 2 as I recall each working on 3 cylinders. If you have what looks like a 2 normal manifolds and 2 down pipes then the car has been retrofitted to the Bavaria system which makes a big difference in performance but not economy.
