i use mobil one in my 535i with good results, tried it in my 2002 and oil comsumption went up to 1 qt every tank of gas.going to try it in my 80 e12 with fresh 2.8L. some advantages to using it but i think its a personal case by case decision, does it make your engine last longer? dont know. especially if you are as anal as i am about oil changes, change oil religiously at 3000 miles.
