I bought my '81 from an ex-Haas (Beatrice) Mario Andretti engineer/crew member. (Or, a screwball with a strange imagination.) The guy sure had believable stories, structural opinions on fixing rust for a school car (don't, it would cost too much to do it right...)
The car is fine, what he said it was...and the front strut bolts are slotted, with + / - numbers in marker. Not that I care, it steers fine.
