Maybe a short somewhere? Did you replace the battery too? voltage across the battery should be around 14V with the headlights on. As for the radio "cutout", mine hasn't done again since the Capacitor install. I think that is the "fix" for the radio cutout issue on e12's and e28's too... and I guess e24's as well.
