My heater has stopped working at the coldest time of the season. Usually it emits a lot of hot air, but not so of late. It is not completly dead just not enough to feel real comfortable in. The control knob only works at the highest speed. The first two speeds stopped working a while back but I just leaned to live with that. What is the usual correction for this? Do I need to focus on a relay switch or center my attention on the heater unit itself? Any simple ways to check on these problems? The car is a 1977. Thanks for any help!
