I test drove an 80 528 with an automatic. At 55 mph the tach was at 3000 rpm, doesn't seem right. Trans went into reverse and drive nicely and downshifted from drive into 2nd very well. Shift lever does not line up with the letters on the console very well. I know nothing about BMW automatics, any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. TIA
