I disconnected the leads from the alternator and removed the ground from the battery. Measured from grnd to neg. battery post and still had continuity. Restored the blue wire to the alt. and no glow on dash light. Restored output lead to alt. and grnd cable to battery and dash light glows. Everything leads me to believe that the diode is failed. Would you agree?
