A 1963 Chevy Impala SS with slushbox automatic. The paint was a dark red wine color that was completely dead. I think I put more oil in that engine than fuel. And talk about a PIA to change oil filters. These were the days before spin-on units. Thank goodness BMW put a little more thought into the cartridge filter than GM did. The straw that broke the camels back was when the front universal on the drive shaft broke. Luckily the POS had an x-member frame so the darn shaft didn't fall and catapult the differential right out the back. Yeah, those were the days...
