Thanx for the info on the 76 530i. If I do have the"thermal reactor" exhaust system can it be replaced by more of a conventional exhaust system and the engine leaned out?Would an aftermarket oil cooler be another solution?Did you run 20/50 oil in your 77"s.Also how accurate is the temp gauge?
