Cool, email me offline if you want any tips on how we built ours. I was clueless at first except for a rough drawing of what I wanted. My friend did the rest and provided instruction. This is the guy who helped me do gauges in the E12, custom made V1 remote display in the fasten seatbelt mount in the E12 dash, etc, etc. He's a good friend to have.

We used 2x4's in various lengths, a bunch of 2 1/2" lags and washers, 3 sheets of 3/4" particle board, cordless drill, and a DeWalt circular saw to saw the lumber into the sizes we needed. The florescent light fixtures were a bargain at Home Depot, $7 a piece. And the bulbs are only $1.70 each. They're not cold weather fixtures, so they blink and are noisy until they warm up. But the next ones up were like $25 a fixture!
