the weights sitting around to align BMW's to the specs (most of their computor programs don't say either). Specs, I believe, say to 1) fill the gas tank, 2) put a driver in the car and, 3) put 150 pounds in each of the three seats. That's four people sitting on their a**** while a fifth guy does the work. Very unproductive for a shop, if they do have that many employees. It would be that or they could put dirty sandbags or tires in the seats and we all know how that would make us feel about our cars afterward. I have only had good alignments done at Goodyear in the past. They are the only ones, IMHO, that have done a satisfactory job, i.e., steering wheel straight, and car doesn't pull to the right when I get it back. That reminds me: all the computor alignment programs in shops have a built-in correction for the slant of the road when you are driving. A road is crowned, so to speak, for water run-off (like a football field), so that the right shoulder is lower than the center. You can imagine what this does to a car driving down an old flat road. I'm sure some of you have experienced this. My 2-cents. Thank you, Thank you.
