well, it finally happened. the '80 euro e12 that i bought two years ago strictly for parts and have been driving daily for a little over a year finally bit the dust yesterday. in the past year i've replaced a leaking radiator and one leaking fuel injector, both with used parts from the shed. cars just don't get any cheaper to run than this. so what happened? i backed into a spot at a funeral home (fitting, somehow) and the exhaust hit a concrete baracade and both pipes broke. there had to be a down side to driving a car with sport springs. given the rust and the number of cars we have it's just not worth fixing, i've been waiting a whole year for it to die. oh well, it had an up-to-date donor card so i'll be surgicially removing parts (as in the note below) so that others may live. let me know if you want anything.
