It seems to get more intersting all the time. First we couldn't find the part numbers, now I've tracked down two Hartge's with the same head and cam #s. But still don't know if these are same specs. as Hartge or not.
When I took the valves out I noticed some material had been removed from the roof of the intake ports down to the valve seats. It has a different texture than the casting. I just don't know if BMW always does that or not. It may be ported or it may be nothing. I don't know.
