I drove myself crazy on this one. If you set your advance light to 22 degrees, you will line up with a "chisel mark" on the flywheel.

You don't need an adjustable advance light to set timing with the steel ball. So if you do have an advance light, set it the advance to 0 to use the steel ball as the reference.

(I hope this helps and I didn't confuse anyone)
