In short dont run them in a car that was not originaly equiped with them. At the shop I used to work at 90% of teh runability problems were solved when we checked the plugs and replaced the 1 week old platinum plugs that had just been installed by the owner. the plugs would run great for about a week then load up behond its self cleaning ability.
