Well, I'm seriously looking into finally renewing my exhaust from front to back. Don't want to spend a fortune either. Basically I know that the Bavaria Headers are not actually headers but rather a manifold.
However, my 76 530i is currently fitted with a plain
manifold. My question is, was there ever a plain manifiold available for the 530i? My car either never had the Thermal Reactors or someone fitted this manifold to the car before I owned it. So, should i just stick with the manifold i have (seems OK) and buy new downpipes, center pipe and muffler? Or should I go for the Bavaria manifold and do the modifications
to make it work? Would the Bavaria manifold give me any benefit over the existing manifold? Finally, have any of you installed the sterling headers from Bavarian Autosport? Do you recommend them or are they worth the $499 price tag? I know this is long but I'm looking for some advice here.
