I replaced my thermal reactor (76 530) with the Bav. exhaust manifold and downpipe. Don't know if there was a performance difference since I was basically switching over to the updated cylider head, rebuilt fuel injection unit, and other various things. The whole car ran and sounded great when done. I also just have a bosal replacement muffler, so the car makes a nice low rumble. I got the exhaust parts through Paul at Maximillian in Maryland. He never mentioned anything about there being an exhaust manifold available sans the thermal reactor unit.
