Just finished a long trip in my recently purchased 76 530i but heard some strange noises coming from it:1)When cruising a long at 80 every so often I would hear Snap or Cracking noise coming from inside the car! I suspect the brain (the car`s,not mine)couldn`t figure out what it could be. 2)At one point in Alberta the car started making a high pitched whine,not the same as warning buzzers.Pulled over and shut down,looked under the hood,everything O.K, started up, noise gone!3)This time an unusual sound coming from the rear of car...I suspect the fuel pump running too hot on this one...can they overheat and get noisy? Has anyone else heard these types of noises coming from their cars or should I be looking for an Exorcist?
