is the rotating assembly in a m30 forged or cast? i'd assume it's cast cast cast, but i'm not enitrely sure on the crank, the casting line appears to be quite thick like a forged unit would have...
and i figured while i was asking about the crank, i'd ask about the rods and pistons (most likely appear to be cast)...
anyone really crazy out there know the silicon content of the aluminum used for the pistons? are they hypereutectic or hypoeutectic?
