OK, so I've developed a reputation for opposing urethane bushings. That's in part because I would
like to soften my ride, not roughen it. Nobody's
ever suggested ANYTHING on how to soften it and I've
asked before.

The normal suspension maintenance gets done when needed. The suspension is completely stock, not lowered, stock 14" wheels, etc....I can't localize this problem to anything. It's just every pothole feels larger than anticipated.
Some rear bushings need replacement, I'm sure. However, I'm confident the front is part of the problem as this crosses bad pavement first. The car never bottoms out. The front shocks are stock Boge and a few
years old. All springs are original.

Can springs wear out and become too stiff?
