OK. Thanks for the info. Probably not worth getting
too worked up over the issue if it's characteristic
for this car.
My dad does think it was a little softer when new, but
new cars always seem to absorb the bumps better.
BTW: I'm still wondering if springs can wear out.
Are springs ever replaced just to renew them?
